There is a monument very much like that one very near to where I live. I surely hope and pray that the list of names beneath "Iraq" never gets as long as the lists under WWI, WWII and Vietnam.

Well maybe on rare ocassion but I'm sure trying hard not to.
We have a memorial tribute like that in my little town too and my town consists of 4 corners, but we are a patriotic and grateful little town in America. I'll miss you Justi. I admire your tenacity and your ability to stand firm when you believe in something. Keep in touch. love, pam

My parents had mixed feelings about WW2. My dad and his four brothers served at about the same time and my mother's brother was killed at Normandy. I wish I could remember what they said. I put up pics of a memorial in France a couple of days ago. Yours is a great picture.a

Justi, we live in a small town also. There isn't a memorial here to those
soldiers who have died in combat, but every lamp post on Main street is tied around with a yellow ribbon bouquet.
