I fully understand your need to possibly leave blogit for a while. That's just what I may end up doing myself, though as I said in my post from yesterday, nothing is for certain yet.
I feel so badly for those who were attacked. You all have my love and my support.

You shouldn't leave. I know that there are others that don't like to
see ANYONE hurt in any way. It's unfortunate that sometimes things get out of hand.

others were hurt and slandered, of course, Blanche's removal was just. Blogit must be safe and peaceful for all.

I think you may be missing the gravity the final days Blanche was
writing on Blogit. The phrases and threats she made were not only heinous, but illegal as well. She is a fine writer with sensibilities that make her tremendously interesting, but there is a line that cannot be crossed. I am not insensitive to her situation and will miss reading her, but I was appalled at the content of her wrath toward others. What resulted in her removal is sad, but in my opinion, it is just.

Manda, do you realize that Blackcat, shelly, me, Corbin, Offbeats, and
many others were slandered as well? I'm sorry you feel like leaving...I hope you won't. A lot went down this past year and no one came to our defense. People forget there have been a trail of victims along the way...I want peace, too.
