I was born and bread in Texas, and the W-heat is unbearable.  We have one star on the flag, and her name is Sandra Bullock.

Azfal-
Your post makes me grateful to live the life I lead in this country.  Of course, no political system is perfect, but I feel that we do have a voice in our government and It's up to us to exercise it!

Namaste!

Tanga, who lives in Zambia, was saying that his country's politicians

Are completely corrupt and never do anything in the interest of the populace. Here in America, we have a much more organized system of justice.

Our society is much more free - WE still have plenty of dishonest politicians who don't care about the people they represent.

I think it's pretty much the same here except we don't listen to a lot of the stuff they want us to do...but we have a choice as to whether we will do it or not. Doesn't sound that easy where you are tho...

Afzal

It's a very sad situation indeed.

I don't really engage in politics, so I wouldn't be the best judge of what goes on here.

I think all politicians do to be honest, the partial reason being that, especially in any kind electoral democracy they have to try and appeal to a variety of different sectional needs and wants to maintain power. Interresing blog.
