The net..
..is perfect for finding a corner where we can be exactly who we want to be. ^_^ Keep it up.

Nice to hear from you all. Hope you had a nice weekend!
I'm tired now. Wouldn't mind just watching a film. Actually, I am going to watch one at 9pm, so I'll get on with my blogging pronto!

Tonyzonit
hi.. have been a bit absent. I think this corner does allow us to be ourselves, but then I suppose we'd have first to know who our 'selves' were. Perhaps because there's no face-to-face contact we interact at a greater depth, a mixture of the phemonology of reading, and reader-response theories in action!  In fact, we're probably rewriting social and literary theory here, as regards contemporary writing practice.. imagine blogging with Coleridge (that would have been interesting) or Blake, Shakespeare or Spenser, even Freud or Jung. Wonder how their work would have developed if they'd had blogit for instant and interactive feedback, or perhaps it wouldn't have made any difference.  Well, maybe Freud and Jung would have got a bit of an earful from feminists, but on the whole... ambivalence prevails again. Sorry!

TonyZonnet indeed. Thanks for your visits and good words
I also enjoy hearing what I call Britishisms. I miss them...certain word order and words "spare time" for America's "extra time". And to digress to the mundane "Tin of fish" as opposed to "Can of fish". Don't let me talk about the fish tin tin! Shalom
