It could have been worse? Um...how??
Well, I hope the PT helps!! I would have totally freaked out in that tube, no question. What do they do if that happens?

True. The fear is always there. Though that didn't stop me from doing something stupid today. I won't even say what I did since I know people will yell at me.

Thank you! I am feeling pretty positive about the PT. I've used this company in the past when I needed PT, and they're really good. Thanks for your warm wishes!

Jemmie, if it's any comfort, I've lived with that fear of not making things worse for years now. When it comes to diet for those of us with kidney problems, once you reach a certain stage of kidney damage, there's even a word for it - "dialysis anorexia." You get afraid to eat anything for fear it'll make things worse. The fear is always there, somehow.

Jemmie,
I hope the PT will help you. They tried that for me a couple of years ago and it didn't work. At least I finally know what's wrong with my back now. (After about five and half years of having no idea and still being in constant pain).
I hope they can also prescribe some sort of pain medication for you.
I hope you get to feeling better soon.

You are so right! I am finding it difficult to focus at work because of this. And I have to remember to move around periodically, so that is always in the back of my mind and distracts me.

Thanks. And I don't know which is worse either. I felt awful not knowing, but now that I do know, I am scared I might unintentionally do something to make it worse. It's like walking on eggshells.

Wow. Now I just don't feel so bad! LOL And I was taking a muscle relaxant and an anti-inflammatory the doc gave me, but I told her yesterday that I wanted to stop taking those because I hated the way they messed with my head. So I guess I'll just deal with the pain.

Jemmie211, I'm so sorry you've been in that kind of pain. Its hard to focus on anything else when dealing with a bad back.

Jemmie, I'm sad for you. My Caity starts PT next week as well for her
spinal issues. Not sure which is worse, not knowing or knowing.
