It's sad to hear. Are you sure that he is not happy living this way?

Those who do not respect the elderly...
...will likely find that they will fare no better when they reach that stage of life. These children, son especially, seem to have little respect for the father who is very responsible for the high standing they find themselves in. Not showing respect for those who helped make us who we are is a sign of weak character and will most likely lead to a similar state later in life. My father took in his father until he (my grandfather) passed on, and I will assure you that my father will have the same care and concern that he gave his dad when the time comes. Not only did my father show his sons how to be the leader of a family, he also is blessed with the gifts of my grandfather's wisdom as he made the transition to the next world.
