Hi Mneme
I love dreams, they're so surreal and silly. The second verse really captures the madness. On the awake side of things, i hope you cheer up soon. Don't forget about those caramel slices. They are usually a good quick fix!

Great line... in fact, it could be the title you're looking for.

Have a go and see if you can do it. Ask again if you get stuck.

PS, I will happily create links for you which you can copy and paste
elsewhere. I did this for Terry's poems a while back and will be updating his for him soon.

Mneme, to do a link using the Blogit toolbar:
- Find the post.
- Copy either 'permalink' or 'Go to [post title]' from its comments page or the full http address from your browser bar.
- Go to where you want to create the link.
- Paste it in.
- Simple as that, but then you can also edit by carrying on following the rest of the instructions
- Right-click on the link.
- Click on 'Set link properties'.
- Where it says 'Link text' just write in what it is you want it to say.
- If you want it to open in a new window, go to where it says 'target' and use the drop-down menu to select 'target'.
- Then click OK. Link is created.
I just used that set of instructions to create the link below which will open in a new window. Some PCs and operating systems won't allow you to do it, but it's worth a try.

Muser, thank you so much.
if you haven't seen this writer yet, Tonyzonit posts a sonnet a day. When I get time I do try to play around with the older language as well but am not very good yet. Practice makes perfect. BTW, back a page or two I've posted one or two more.

Dave,
Thank you.. I'd read Tony for a while and when you wrote your first one for him, I thought I'd try (29 September). Haven't quite worked out how to create a link yet but I will eventually. I've mentioned the two of you once or twice in connection with these.. I have only a very short collection so far.

My dear Mneme...are we on the same wavelength...again?!
I love your sonnet...the contemporary language in an olde form...lovely.
More, more...

Mneme, it works very well indeed. Were you inspired by Tony? I've certainly become reinvigorated by this form (and others) since he's been around.
