Can't live with them, can't shoot 'em, Blanche. Of course, that doesn't
work in the reverse (read: Cheney with a gun).  Anyway, you nailed it when you said someone has to keep up with the details.  I do it this way to show the enormity of it all, the rising list of fatalities, the casualty rates of Iraqis and Americans, the ridiculousness of propping up a government that cannot and will not stand on its own, the stupidity of the policies that have immersed us in this war and the leaders who continue to blindly maintain while seeking no resolution based on the reality of the political and military situation that exists....

Saul, the only thing that keeps me from going ballistic over the war

and frothing at the mouth is not thinking about the details too much, but then I feel guilty because someone needds to, keep track and tallies. Of all the thing that makes me the maddest it is the absolute denial of the real costs in human and financial terms of this war, and the people who are living it, American and Iraqi, and other.

I can barely stay civil to the Bushbots.
