More Austin Powers I think Melody! I'm not sure about the timbales as I don't know what they are! I thought I'd best have some Mexican while in San Francisco and saw a bunch of people buying something hot wrapt in foil so bought one - I think it was a burrito - a kind of pancake with a bean and cabbage concoction inside - yum!

Hey Rob,
it sounds like you are living the life fandango - "La Vida Loca." Latin jazz is very stimulating... Did they have timbales? My vision of you in the midst of the parade is a blur... I'm not sure if to picture you as Don Corleone or Austin Powers.

Very nice
to witness your travels. Ever read Pico Iyer's travel books? Pick them up from the local bookstores if you can. He is California based and writes wonderful travel books. Keep us posted. Cheers.

It sounds like you're having a fantastic time! I've never been out to San Francisco, but I mean to get there sometime. As with Yosemite. Its amazing how many places in the US I've never been to--I spend so much time here in the northeast.
Keep posting about your travels!
