Thanks everyone..
I've dropped out of sight for the past day or two, although I've been reading and not commenting. Yesterday wasn't a good day, and I'm still exhausted so I'm having another early night. Hoping I'll be back on form tomorrow and be back to commenting/staying in touch.

It did, and I could do with some now, but it's bedtime. Your day sounded very nice; I love looking out of somewhere ambient onto autumn colours. Have to fly a long way to do that these days but there are plenty of beautiful pictures all over the blogs to compensate. Talking of pictures, Ypunday what is that thing?

Mneme, I hope that caramel slice and coffee restored your sense of
equilibrium. Sometimes that's all it takes for me. That and good music, which does soothe my savage breast. We are all influential here, as Dave says, tied into the interconnected web.
I am having a good day, enjoying the fulsome largesse of the world, even in winter, the deep burgundys, ambers and greens of winter, which seem muted in the winter light are softer and invite me to curl up into a chair in a warm room.
