Thanks to you all!
And for today, a change of mood forced by the date...

"All lemon-coloured femininity/That makes men full with tenderness and grace / It was, it is, it will be once again,/ When dreams awaken on November ten." What lovely colours ascribed to the sexes! When females are lemonish, males become orangish. Reserving myself from saying further. Very nice!

Bon jour, Tony! (that's almost the extent of my French so don't start

answering in French). I hope Marie-Claire, you and Dave can teach me, I feel like my education is lacking.

Beautiful, heartwarming image of the tea on the table. There's nothing like tea to warm the soul is there?

How beautiful, Tony
and, yes, dreams can be replanted and come to life. Your imagery was fabulous.

love those lines
All lemon-coloured femininity
That makes men full with tenderness and grace.
It was, it is, it will be once again,
When dreams awaken on November ten.

Such variety in your work, Tony. From the ridiculous to the sublime. This one suffused with splendour and magnificence. True mastery at either end of the scale.
