Afzal, from my own experience, I have learned that the more I try to
explain myself, the worse the confusion gets. At some point, I just had to say, "Enough. I've explained all I can can and those who get it, get it, and those who don't never will." You can't please or win over everyone. That's just life.
Enjoy your relationship and be happy, but you'll never convince everyone that you're right. And you know what? What difference does it make in the long run. In the end, living well is the best way to go. Just be the best you can, and live happily ever after.
