I've
worked for amnesty international. I translated letters to the chinese government. To be honest if you wish to help these people, you must become a part of such an organization. Blogging is nice, but do you really think it would help them?. Only if you write against the perspective governments in question,or you write to them.

Sunny,
What do you suggest we should do to protest such arrests?

Passion,
This post was inspired by an aritcle published in "The independent" and subsequently republished in "The Statesman" at kolkata which reports a news published at Los Angeles on Oct.27,2006 The appeal comes on theeve of the inaugural meeting of the Internet Governance Forum , a UN-sponsored gathering in Athens to consider the future of online cummuniction. It furhter states that people have been locked up for expressing their views in an e-mail or on a website, said Mr Steve Ballinger of Amnesty . Sites and blogs have been shut down and firwalls built to prevent accesst o information .Companies have restricted Internet searches.
