If it's a situation arrises, just walk away if they can't understand
TRY TO TALK FIRST, BUT IF THEY STILL ANGRY, I LEAVE THEM. IF THEY ARE CONSTANTLY ANGRY, THEY HAVE AN ISSUE

I have witnessed lately that you do very well with this kind of thing.
It was not me I was talking about. And no, I haven't been "angry" lately. Well...not with you anyway.

Oooh, I am a Bad Girl...
If someones gets angry with me, which is very rare, I cannot keep my mouth shut, it is like something bad triggers in me and I just fire back --- Hang on... theres fire in the hole.....
But treat me right and I am as calm as a kitty...

Mostly keep quiet or walk away. Mostly, but not always.

Family battles can be hard to deal with, especially if there are many to take sides.

Wow! I don't have a brother, so I guess it's hard to imagine that happening.

it totally depends on my mood
i either ignore it - or instigate an incident and give a quick snotty comeback. family issues are bad - you can really say mean shit and damage a relationship for good - those i usually let go unless they really cross the line

I'm afraid I only lose patience with family members, and then only after, like you, trying to keep it calm. I hate being disrespected. Some people just love a good argument. I'm not one of those, but I do hate to be made wrong when I know I'm not.

I avoid angry people. In my family people took whatever was dished out, didn't answer back, then carried grudges the rest of their lives. Then along came my brother who has a little backbone. He was present when the person with whom I work bawled me out. My brother advised me to quit, then said, "If he talks to you that way again I'm going to punch him in the nose". I said, "Let me handle my own situations".
