I agree with you, Afzel and would only add,
Wisdom is the knowledge we acquire in the study of Scripture and ignorance is the absence of this knowledge. Good post, Keep Writing! faholo

Afzal
How kind of you.  Though your extended thoughts are likely much more accurate than mine.
Good Morning, Love.

Good post! Proverbs 3 says ::

"Blessed is the person who finds wisdom and gets understanding.

Wisdom is worth more than silver. It brings more profit than gold."

It even goes on to say that God created the heavens and the earth using his wisdom.

Ignorance is an ugly creature.

Moxie Maven , It conveyed the meaning even if it was misworded.

I believe I misworded the definition for Ignorance
Ignorance: being untrue to oneself

Moxie Maven, You have made a brief and accurate definition . Thanks.

Ignorance: not being true to yourself

Wisdom: humble acceptance of ingnorance

Afzal
Interesting post.  You've really went in depth with this.

Wisdom.....Is the knowledge derived from experience.
Ignorance.... Is the refusal to accept that knowledge that is derived from experience.

I'm tempted to make a joke here, and say I don't know!
But yes, I do agree. However, like virtually everything, the question of what is wisdom is a thorny one. If people don't agree on it, then there can be problems. So I think the best path is to accept difference with a calm mind and just try to find our own wisdom and live according to it.

there's really not much worse than ignorance. There's a great
difference between not knowing the answer, and ignorance.  One is a willingness to be open and to learn.  The other is judgmental and cowardly.
