StrickGold, In Calcutta we are having Durga puja Holidays as such
most of the good lawyers are out of station . You are absolutely right and I agree with you that things can be arranged that way as an alternative . Thanks.

Depends
It would depend on a number of things that I would have to consider.  First of all I would let my client know that I have already made arrangements to be out of town.  I think most of my clients realize that I am human and that I do have a life other than business.  Plus I never leave town without having an associate take my calls.  My clients know that I work 16-20 hours a day for them and that once in awhile I need a break

Well, I was prepared to
be a fugitive of jury duty to go on vacation.  They denied rescheduling the first time my husband and asked, and I finally said, "look, I won't be here. Do what you will."  They allowed us to reschedule.  Take care

Sweetie, I am going to loose him . I have asked him to engage any
other for help in the meantime . It is not that he cannot get his work done by anybody else . Of course he is displeased for the time being with me but that doesn't matter . Thanks .

Afzal
Love, I am glad that would be your decision.  I would feel really bad if you didn't go, if something were to happen to your mother. You have my love and my prayers.

Good Morning. Did you just wake up?

Listen to the little voice inside and follow your intuition. Don't second guess your initial gut feeling.

In your life you will have many clients
but only one mother

Afzal, Have you been asked not to make the trip because of business?   Or, is this just hypothetical?   I'm no good with hypothetical questions because they do not take into consideration situational problems or ethics.

Afzal
What?!  Please tell me this isn't true. This trip is important to you. And I know the work is too. I can not answer this. You will have to make a decision.
You remember what I told you that I did? And to expect the unexpected? This could be one of those things.  However...it may not be, and I would hate to see you miss this trip.
Honey, I really wish I could, but I can not help you with this.  Go with your instincts.

I Would See If I Could Make Arrangements for the Customer
Unless it is an absolute emergency, I would go on the trip.
