Thank you. I am often saddened and angered that some Christians just can't, or won't grasp the fact that many agnostics and atheists have a very strong spiritual element in their natures. I don't know why ; maybe it undermines their own convictions

I also wish that they would extend me the same tolerance and understanding that I offer them. To their credit, many in here do, and one can hold reasoned and rational discussion with them.

Beautiful piece
I am a Christian turned Agnostic. I get the guilt thing. That does not change the fact that this is a nicely formed piece of work whatever you believe. Nature has it's own power,I guess.

Ariel70, I think its precious too.  I can't help laughing at your aversion to the double spacing of the poetry here unless one takes the time and aggravation of getting rid of them.  It took me a long time to get use to the necessity of doing that.   Sometimes I still leave mine double spaced just because I don't want to mess with it.

RAME

Why, thank you! Such praise! I must admit to a slight twinge of guilt at writing such a poem ; being an atheist and all. But I like to think that few ( or no ) atheist in here is as passionate as I in defence of Christianty and Christians.

Although I did take them to task once for the appalling writing of some of them.

One day soon d.v. I hope to write a piece on how sad, and how dangerous it is, that the Christian message is being so trivialised.

You might want to check with Cosy because she's able to format her poetry the way she likes.
