This is a great post. I saw a bumper sticker today that seemed to be
making a similar statement. I wish more people felt as you do. I would love to be able to just be me and not feel that I might incense someone by writing about my views on religion and politics. Maybe one day I will and to heck with the masses, yes? LOL Have a great day.

THE STORM IS COMING "I'm devoured by your fiery flame
My lips can only speak your name
Just spread my ashes all around
Ah touch me, turn me on, and burn me down"

In my view, a way of living, if you are religious, you have your own set
set standards, you stand out and shine in a better form.

Sunny , You are an exception here . I like your comment .
One thing I want to tell you that it is not easy to be different from others as it requires lot of toil and talent to remain true to your ideology and belief in this time of fundamentalist tornado.

I can't really speak a lot on politics, as I am not much into that kind of thing.
I'm not a big fan of organized religion. I can't speak for religions that I don't know much about, but with Christianity...it was set in place as a means to control the masses. And control it did, in many ways, whatever it took. Religion in that respect has been controling and still is to a lot of affect.
You know I don't believe in heaven and hell, and sin and such. I guess I don't really believe in religion but in Spirituality. One's own beliefs and rituals of and by one's self, or within one's small group. Things are different for everyone. No one is the same, everyone has different needs and different trials in this life. So to say one thing is right for everyone, and that everyone should live within certain restricted limits, is just wrong to me.
