Afzal...
It seems bigotry is the result of a person thinking they know more are are better than others. My sister is Catholic and lives in Georgia. She says Southern Baptists have told her she is going to hell since they don't consider Catholicism a real religion. I wonder what Bible verse they get that from?

You've either got to confront them or keep as far away as possible!

OFFBEATS, I know that we would not like to be bigots nor would we let
our children be bigots nor would we allow our leaders to be bigots. We need to be tough with bigots wherever they are .Thanks.

Excellent post about this subject. No I do not believe we should tolerate bigotry. After all a bigot is something none of us want to be, not our children, nor our leaders, nor our friends..not at any level in our life...

amen to that!
Jesus hated the Pharisees, and He would not be too impressed today either. You cannot ram religion down people's throat.

Excellent and well spoken wisdom Afzal
I especially like this line: "I feel that you do not become big and great by talking big and great but by doing big and great." I agree completely and no, I do not tolerate bigotry - it is a murderer of human beings and a destroyer of nations.
Thank you for sharing this.
