Yes, indeed, though my boy is grown now.  These days I get to try to keep up with my two grandchildren -- and there's a third one on the way.  Life is good.

That was an interesting way of putting it.  It reminds me of all the times I had to try to divide my attention between my son's latest passion and my own interests.  I learned a lot from my son just by trying to keep up with all of his interests.

Sounds sorta like a soccer mom in training...

"Mom, did you see that block/goal I made in the first half?"

"Uh-huh...that was great!" (actually I was gabbing with my neighbor but I'd die if my kid knew I wasn't watching intently). Poetic license? Yep! We all do it.  Nice that you get paid for it, though!
