There is education and then there is brainwashing.  Too often, education is learning what the culture you happen to be born into thinks is important.  What if one's interests lie elsewhere?  I am very suspicious of the concept of IQ.

Um.....I have another, comment.....er....observation....but I think I'll save it for when we talk.

I'm not sure, but I think I would say it is the opposite?

Education is something that can be learned.  IQ is something that just is....like common sense.
Does that make sense?
