Glad you liked it. It's one of the few poems I ever enjoyed writing although it was the result of an assignment at a writer's retreat on the North Carolina coast. I thought I was going for fiction and ended up in a poetry workshop. Not a good place for someone who refers to himself as notapoet.

Glad you liked it. It hadn't occurred to me before, but now that you've mentioned it, my experience remainds me of my grandson's struggles with his bike. Thanks for the insight, and for the click.

Well I like it
...even if you don't. Although I suspect you do really. Keep it up - the bike and everything else.

Absolutely true. You don't forget, but you sure feel wobbly for a while and wonder how something that takes so much effort now seemed so effortless when you were young.

*laughs deeply* I love your humor about! Earl of Wobbly really got me! But it's true, then? You never really forget?
