Glad R exposing us to India's facts.Why do non-western nations produce good
women canadidates for leadership--Ceylon's Premiers, Indira Gandhi, Anandhati Roy, the late Mrs Pandit, now In Africa, Liberia's President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf? The irony or contradiction between developing countries having male dominant cultures and yet producing all the female leaders in thelast 50 years seems inexplicable. Tough conditions in India either makes women followers or leaders? Salaams--
