Our individuality makes our reality subjective... Therefore, our belief in God (God/Godess/multiple deities) is subjective. It's our perspective. Thought provoking post!

I don't have the answers, but as long as everyone can believe WHATEVER
and in WHOMEVER they want, our world can be at peace. Instead, we have radical groups trying to dictate to the world their version of God and starting wars over it. This insanity must stop.
Thoughtful post!

Afzal,
We sing of God, the mighty source
of all things; the stupendous force
on which all strength depends;
from whose right arm, beneath whose eyes,
all period, power and enterprise
commences, reigns and ends.
I think we can't agree because we each want our own way. So, we each make God to be what we want Him to be.

I have known some people in my life whom have said man is crazy, for thinking their is Gods or one God. '' Where all worm meat when we die.' They say, live your life, it's yours now, make the most of it. Then I have heard them say, in times of trouble. '' God help me.' In their desperation of the moment. Not even realizing what they have said. For myself I do believe in a Great Creater and will never criticize others for their believes, weather in Gods or one God. The people whom I have known, who don't believe in nothing but themselfs are always in some form of trouble, because they live for the moment and do as they choose. Believing they answer to no one or nothing. Thank you afzal for my chance in comment. Mike

The question is, I think, do the gods come out of the human brain or are they external to us. Does either origin makes them more (or less) real?

I got nothin.
But take this in consideration. Pagans, and hindus have a god of creation, and different gods for other things. Well christians, and religions that stem from christianity, have one god but angels that do much of his work. As far as godmen are concerned, procreation is considered godlike. Our judicial system decides over life, doctors, scientist, idiots with guns. Many play god. The confusion here is the word,"God".

afzal...I'll try.
There is source.....from which we all are derived.
Man is born, with a curiosity and need ..... he developes a concept of God(dess), this brings God(dess) into existance. Why? Because man created the entity.
So you start at the top with "Source". Out of sorce comes male and female aspects...or general "God" and "Goddess" .....then derived from God and Goddess, comes more general, or specific entities....but ALL are of the same source. Example....
Bast(et) is derived from Goddess, which is derived from Source.
Does this better explain things, love?

This would take a long long explination.
Here is the short version.... All gods/goddesses are one.....all of the same source.
