Being that a large percentage of the population here is Christian of some form....Pagan's are not highly looked upon.  So it's a way for pagans to get together, and celebrate the fact that we do exist, and that we are good people, just like everyone else.  There are venders that sell things...books they have written, artwork, god/goddess statues, incense, raffels...just about anything pagan you can imagine.  Last year there was also some kind of animal rescue there with a couple of ferrets. It was really nice.  There were guest speakers also, but we didn't get the chance to hear any of them.

What is this Pagan pride day . what is the significance of celebrating this
and why it is celebrated .Any important historical ,social or culutural event is connected with its celebration . Thanks.

I don't know that it's the same thing, but we have Pagan Pride Day, that I went to for the first time last year.
