A lady who was a paragon of virtue on earth, upon her death, was dismayed to find herself in hell. She phoned St, Peter, who begged her to be patient, because heaven was temporarily so overbooked that he could make no room for her.
Two weeks later she buzzed St. Peter again, warning him that they were teaching her to drink and smoke ---" These people here are very dangerous and the temptation is great and I am afraid". "Patience and fortitude", counselled St. Peter; he would soon be able to accommodate her - but not just yet.
A fortnight later, the paragon of virtue made a final call; "Hi there Pete? Forget all about it! And if you too really want to enjoy, come here. This is the place. "
