Rcky, yes, amoung the like minded it can certainly seem like
we are the bigger part of the whole.  I guess in some ways we truely are....in understanding at least.

I didn't say there is no God. What I said is that "God" is not
a form that many believe is so.

Let me try to paint a picture for you.....
In the beginning was creation...however that happend, I'm not completely sure of that in my mind yet, nor am I worried about it. It will come when and if I need it.
With that creation there was/is a force of sorts...a power, an energy.
From this power, comes all things.  Everything comes from within this power. We ARE this power.  The trees and rocks are this power.  We are NOT separate from this power, but an extension....like an arm or a leg. We are divine, we are one with this creating force. We are the creaters.
We are not left here to suffer.  We all have within us the power to change our circumstances to some extent.
Is this making sense, my love?

Sunny, you're right! However, I have been so immeshed in the world of

metaphysics... teaching classes, taking classes, doing readings, etc. and most all of my friends are like me, that I always have to be reminded that still we are not the majority but in my world we are! LOL

Love, I just sent you an email.
We can possibly discuss this, so that you can understand.
It took me a while to form the beliefs I have today.  Mostly through learning, experiencing and trusting what feels "right" to me.

Rcky...I know there are many...just not compared to the whole.
At least not to my knowledge

Sweetie,How and Who has taught you this preplanned notion of knowledge
existing in us if there is no God. Either you believe in God with the concept of nature also under his control and believe in no God and accept that this universe also is an accidental phenomenon . I think we need to talk more on this point . I think , we need to believe in some thing which is really very convincing for us. Thanks for this wonderful discussion. I have learnt a lot of new things from you .

Sunny, you would be surprised how many believe as we do.....
we're just not mainstream! LOL

Rcky....LOL
One of the somewhat few of us?

Oh and Afzal that is also what Christians believe and it's too bad they
are both wrong! God doesn't judge us...we judge ourselves...remember we have free will to live the life we.

Well Afzal...there you go....have you thought about how it makes sense
though?  In my opinion organized religion is God's worst enemy!

Oh Sunny....you are truly one of us! LOL Absolutely what I believe!

RckyMntActivist, Muslims do not believe in reincarnation . Accoring to
Islam there is a day of judgment fixed for Reward and punishment for our performance in this world during our existence here on earth.

afzal...I'm not sure how else to say this except to put it out there
and duck from the blows I will likely get from anyone of other faith reading this. LOL

God is not how it/He appears.

We ARE God.  We are divine.  There is no separation between us and God.  Before you are born, you review your past lives....see what you have learned, and what you still desire to learn.
The experience of being human is a blessed experience.  I know that it seems like we are left here by an uncaring creator....left to suffer.  But that is not so.  You have to go within yourself and find divinity, then you may understand.
The pain is an illusion of sorts.  Everything you see around you is an illusion.  This human experience isn't real.  It is not who we truely are.

I found yours pretty awesome also

Now, if there is no God then why this process of choosing a particular
type of life . If we have a life plan then we have a creator who loves to see human sufferings but with remedy available on prayer to prove his Supremecy . All most all the religion of this world has one message and that is the message of peace and prayer but we find no peace any where . Why is it so ? Does not God want peace , is God in the hands of men like G.B.Bush and Osama Bin Laden.

Hey Sunny...I like your explanation......well done...so metaphysical!

posted by RckyMtnActivist on August 24, 2006 at 8:22 AM | link to this | reply

Afzal.....you seem a bit disillusioned with God not coming to us in our

time of need. So many people ask why do certain things happen to a rightous person, where is God in these instances...etc. The belief in Reincarnation and Karma explains EVERYTHING.  God gave us free will and we reap what we sow! We should take responsibility for our lives and not blame it on God or the universe. The universe is in perfect balance as it always was and always will be.  Does your belief system accept the theory of reincarnation? I know Hindu and Buddhist do but I am not sure about Muslims.

afzal...you never bore me.
My views are different from yours.  I don't believe in a "God" as to have an agenda for us, so to speak.

How can I explain this?  ....Life in human form is like a game or experience of our choosing.  We come here to experience. Yes there is pain in life.  Some have more than others.  It is pre-planned.  We chose to come here and experience these things.
Why? Because only in this human form can we experience such. Our bodies allow us to feel things that we can not otherwise feel in our true form.  Does this make sense?
No God has left you to suffer.

Rejoinder means reply . I feel that our life is a simple passing
phenomenon. I do not know how far their is any plan involved in it because nothing is working according to plan in this universe , evey thing seems to be going wrong . Now, we are born to live and die according to the circumstances under which we live . No deliberation is useful to our life because we are helpless victims born to be sacrificed to the plan of nature or God for that matter or whatever you may call or name it . If God is the creator and planner then why does not He come to rescue us when we are in deep pain and anguish . Christians argue that Jesus is the true Saviour , Muslims say that Allah is merciful, and many religions come claiming that they are having the knowledge and the true road map of the plan as is set by God for mankind. Now, who to believe . All these abstract talk of plans and purpose of life has been told to us generation after generation as we are a constant photocopy machine carrying producing the general belief without any concret proof. Hope I did not bore you by giving such a long reply to your comment . Thanks.

An agenda, love...meaning that we have preplanned what
it is we want to learn and experience before we are incarnated into a human body.
Is that what you were asking?

afzal....what is "rejoinder"?

posted by Afzal_Sunny7 on August 24, 2006 at 7:54 AM | link to this | reply

Sweetie, What is that agenda that you are talking about . Is it the agenda
of War set by different faith on this earth or is it the agenda of love set by human hearts. If you delve deep into my rejoinder you may find the meaning to your comment .

Interesting post.
However, I don't believe that birth is an accident, but something that is planned with much thought, and an agenda.
