hard to say. My husband is my very best friend. If I lost him I don't know
if I 'd be able to remarry. Maybe if that person and I had a bond like me and my husband.

I don't know..
My ex husband (note the ex) used to fret all the time about this. He always told me he could never remarry if anything happened to me.
I had a good friend who was a nanny for my kids. Her daughter was as much our daughter growing up. I had a long talk with the ex and told him I would be thrilled if he remarried my friend Linda. I know that sounds crazy, but it made sense at the time.
Okay...time passes. He has an affair and leaves the family. The woman's name? LINDA. I always said the man only listened to about 50 percent of what I said.

Anyhoo..... Was single for a gazillion years, newly married, and should I find myself on my own again I would probably remain that way beause I couldn't possibly find a man as good and as loving as my husband.

I'd probably prefer to remain single. I'm not saying I'd wish to become a widow, but if I do, I feel strongly that I should remain single rather than remarrying.

I have thought over this before...
simply because my husband's career (particularly his previous job) tends to be more dangerous than the typical job. However, I honestly don't know. I suppose my answers depends at least in part on how much he's aggravated met that week! ;o)

That would be kinda hard to answer, being that I've always been single.
Though I've had people tell me they wanted to marry me, none of them have ever been serious about it. So I guess it's not something I'll ever have to really think about.
