I seem to intrude upon your conversations, I'm sorry!
I am GLAD my life isn't full or hasn't been full of that kind of adventure.  You are a survivor, not a fatalist.  Life should be full of God's light and love shining down upon you.  Just look up toward the sky and imagine yourself surrounded with a white gold aura of protection from God.  Nothing can puncture that armament!

Afzal...That's not true! LOL
Don't say that. You will not die in sadness.

Life has always filled my heart with sadness in one form or another.
I am born to live with sadness and die with sadness .

Yes, I know. But it's still very sad.

Yes, it should not always happen but then you have to take it
some time.

Yes, maybe sometimes...
But it shouldn't have to be, love.

That's so horrible. I can't imagine going through such a thing,
and at such a young age.  Your uncle doesn't seem like a very nice person.

Why would your father send you to such a man?

Wow, that must have been a very difficult thing to deal with,
being dispersed from the house in the dark. I suppose we can learn from such harrowing experiences and emerge all the stronger because of them, but I think that would have been quite difficult for me, to be expelled into the darkness.

Yes, life is full of suspense and adventure.

I remember when I was five, Mom was diagnosed with cancer; doctors told Dad that she was going to die.  We lived in Alaska and they sent her on a medical transport to Texas for treatment.  Dad could not go with her as he had my brother, sister and I to care for, and was in the middle of retiring from the military and entering seminary.  After much prayer, he felt God impressing upon him to start school, so he moved my brother to Ohio to start college, then moved my sister and I to Kentucky so she could get into high school and he could start seminary.  We visited Mom as time and money allowed, but it was a long time before she was allowed to leave the hospital.

Mom did leave that hospital, though, after some harrowing treatments.  She recovered and Dad finished school.  They celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary next summer.  God always has the future in His hand.
