Julia

WE've got two cats and two dogs ; centipedes various, woodlice, giant spiders, the occasional snake or two, they all seem to think we're keen to give 'em a home.

Pets? Who'd have 'em? They're worse than kids!

Now, the suspense is killing me. Better me, than Belle. Hope she's OK
Thanks for visiting the Haiku corner at Ypunday; now I see that you had many good reasons to celebrate cat-haiku! Shalom

Julia.
I can't imagine how glad you are to reach your destination.  That had to be extremely stressful for you.  I am glad you made it and I hope Belle recovered as our Paws did as soon as his paws touched the floor.   Paws hid under the seat and I was really worried about him during our last long trip.   He foamed at the mouth and refused to budge from his hiding  place.  He sure was loving after we took him from the truck, even more so then he ever was.  Traveling can be hard on pets and us.  I hope all is going great now!

I had one cat that would juss fall asleep once she felt the movement of the
car... The other kitty would just howl and howl! Poor thing!  Good thing I only had to drive a couple of blocks!

During short holiday jaunts to Birmingham, Alabama from Memphis, one of our cats, Midnight, would get tremendously carsick. Woozy, salivating like mad, seemingly on the verge of passing out, like he was drunk. And this was outside of a carrier. Once we got to our destination, it took a couple hours, but he'd get his bearings. Strange it never effected the other cats.
