I love the final touch to the bath - cologne,
from a tanker in the parking lot!!! Great read!!! My 42-year-old son had an emergency appendectomy in February and was furious at the ongoing fiesta around the next bed. He always was crabby when in pain or sleepy. It was also the family's first introduction to a woman he'd been dating -- and now that he's all better, he's remodeling his house, adding a couple bedrooms for her teen-agers, and there will be wedding bells. She never left his side while he was down, and in fact made him go to the hospital instead of toughing it out. Anyone who's good to my kids is all right with me.

Those gals, those gals.
And perhaps a Turnhim prize?
'Like a man-sized length of pastry' - exquisitely perfect.
Slither jiggle - great combination.
Moist-eyed comments - lovely.
Wonderful, wonderful writing. Cheers my Ellus Tellus.
I shall contend with you on the merits of Tracy Emin dans le futur.

Very funny anecdote
it reminds me somewhat of getting on the couchette of an Italian train when a family of 20 got on to farewell two relatives. They brought a lot of nice food and drink which they shared.
I was given one of those baths a few weeks back and was quite amazed at how they manouvred me.
Tracey Emin's bed was in the Turner Prize at the Tate.

Caution:
Bathing in a Spanish hospital could be hazardous to your health! Shoot, they could have at least sent some hottie to do it for you!
