I discovered installment #3, and then HAD to backtrack until I had read the whole story!

LOL Ariel!!!!
I once thought I was having a heart attack because my chest hurt so bad. I was taken to the ER and it turned out to be my back. It seems as my back got worse I started shifting weight until I was putting too much strain on the chest.

Thanks for droppin' in.
It's amazing how, in thiese days of rapid, cheap travel, some people's minds are still in their own little physical or mental village.
They should be ashamed that here in Spain I've met so many poor, elderly people who can't read or write, but who are thirsty for knowledge of the outside world.
Very few Spanish people of sixty or so ever had any education. To reapy them for a tiny part of the love and friendship that they've given us, I have some of my stories translated into Spanish, and we hold readings in the village where we have our holiday rental house.
It's really heartwarming to see the reactions!

It is funny how people worry about something happening to you
when you are "abroad". Millions of people are treated perfectly well in hospitals in all sorts of countries. I've had positive and negative experiences in English hospitals. I traveled to an exotic location one time when I had both cancer and a baby due in a couple of months and people could not comprehend it that I would allow foreign doctors near me. They didn't understand that I needed to get away to relax to prepare for what I faced FAR from misery guts like them.
