USDA has a George Washington Carver center in Beltsville. You may know it.
So many of the hard working people (current & former slaves) were ready to create new ways of work and efficiency. From the real McCoy (Canadian), TJ Marshall (fire extinguisher), Lewis Latimer (light bulb improvement), Madame C.J Walker--before there was Oprah. Good work Mandalee.
