Of course they probably sent the cute officer back to arrest her!
Wonder if she got his phone number? I have to agree that they should have pressed charges even if it only results in a fine. 911 is not a dating service and there are real emergencies out there. 911 dispatches from the local PD be it city, state or county. Why did she not just call 411 and get the number to the police post itself to track him down using the non-emergency line.

clearly, this woman had a screw loose, or some other problem we won't go into...
, but let me play Devil's advocate here: couldn't that dispatcher simply have said, 'Sorry, honey, no can do!' and hung up? Instead of wasting even more of everybody's resources? Especially her since her fine will never cover the cost?
Of course, that would have deprived us of this story...
