Hi, MandaLee,
Thanks for this.  It's good to be reminded with such good, sensible points of view.  I'm really feeling the struggle and suffering lately, but I know I'll be better off for it all in the long run.  Thanks.  :)

This is a good lesson to learn.
Reminds me of this saying "There's a sweet joy that comes to us through sorrow".

if you don't know suffer, you don't know celebration.
i find suffering is my wake up call that i'm being selfish and need to look to the needs of others.

Those trials are something else, aren't they?
God can humble you like no one else can, that's for sure.

MandaLee, what if joy, like pain, just is?
I mean, I've analyzed and analyzed my own situation a thousand different ways.  Without getting into the metaphysics of why God allows certain situations and things to happen, what if some things just happen to be and I can accept them as they are or not?

Wonderful post. Yes there is joy in suffering in the passing through because then you have grown to a level of use to the Master. Great post.

Thanks for this wonderful post and for visiting mine! According to Joseph Campbell, if we don't learn compassion, we can never enter the gates of heaven. I guess humility serves us well to obtain this objective!
