It happened to me, and when it happens one cannot deny it or they lose the key to life. Love is terrible pain and it is only by accepting the reality, that we find the release from the pain of it.

I don't know that it's only once in a lifetime, but I agree that it's
one at a time. Timmy and Ariala said it best... you stop looking when you've found it. The problem is that it doesn't always last.

Ariala, It is not always the hormones but some inside craving for strange

I think Timmy really hit the nail on the head. When you find love, you
stop looking...if you're still looking, you haven't found love. Either that or hormones (lust) distracts from love.

Love is a feeling that may be different amongst many. A young woman who is with a wealthy older man tells the man of her love but it is probably a love of convenience and maybe he takes the place of her father, an older woman in love with a younger man, gets the satisfaction that a lot of older man cant fulfill. Be young at heart is my motto and someday love will tap you on the shoulder and sweep you off your feet.
