Don't know what to do about cat hair. All my cats have been short hair except when I was a child. Maybe you and Mark could put double sided tape on your shoes. LOL I am not good at remedies LOL

Justi, I wish that dust was my housekeeping problem. The big problem is black cat hair--long black cat hair that leaves clumps everywhere no matter how much I brush her. I don't mind vacuuming every day, but I start finding it on the carpet again just as soon as I put the dang sweeper away. LOL Any hints besides shaving the cat?
