I think I just realized what it is I have such a problem with in the "message" sometimes. You know, put like that "God loved you so much that..." it sounds just like my mother when she's laying the guilt on thick. I doubt God is trying to give us a guilt trip there...just sometimes your own upbringing can color the message you hear from the message that is meant.
