Justi, that sounds dreadful!!!
I'm in CA at the moment, enjoy 100 degree heat, but thankfully with a very low moisture content. Not good for fires, but certainly easier to tolerate.
Hang in there with those hot humid temps of yours. Doesn't sound a bit fun!

I have been watching some of this. All around the world things are changing significantly and it is beyond recycling lol. It is a crash in way of life. People are getting to the point of life choices that have to be made and they will have to go with the choice made no matter what comes.

It was hot as hell here today too.
Lots of sun and humidity. We went looking for a new car.
I saw a special on the Discovery Channel about Alaska. They said the snow is melting there due to Global Warming, the hole in the ozone layer, and several other factors.
But they were saying that it's severely affecting their way of life. They were also saying that since Alaska isn't part of the continental US, they had realized that few Americans really knew or cared of their plight.
One guys ends the show by saying, "Americans damn well better care! Because at some point, it will affect them too."

Really posh people were wont to say that horses sweat, men perspire, and ladies glow.
It's a gittin' kinda warm here too, honey, tho' not quite 110 yet.
Nearly 11.30pm, and we just got back home from a late lunch date with friends. That's Spain for you. Ready to hit the sack!
Enjoy your day and your faith, amiga.

That is such an apt description: The energy of a rock... But I could not stand the rain and gloom... I need sunshine and lots of it. Thanks for reading and commenting.

It's usually springtime in Seattle and
the Pacific Northwest -- especially in the higher elevations. Other times it gets downright winterish. It's lovely if you've got an Irish need for gloom, overcast skies most of the time. I miss it, in this summer in the Midwest, with 95 degrees and 90% humidity and all the energy of a rock.

That is a good one. I want to adopt that, I want to glisten and not sweat. LOL Is there any more room in Hawaii?

Oh yes dear I do love the humidity. You shower, dress and going from the house to the car requires a reverse trip another shower and new dress....... Never really leave the house until the humidity goes up.LOL

When I lived in Baton Rouge
I had a friend who said she didn't sweat, she glistened.
And it is always springtime in Hawaii.
