Afzal,
I think this is interesting...
once I thought of Hell as a fiery pit that evil people were thrown into as punishment for their horrible deeds on Earth. But one day I understood that I create my own Hell, and in doing so I was inviting others to share in my misery. I was so afraid of being alone. Now, wrestling with that fear, stomping it down, embracing good things means that I have to face that what I create touches everything around me...it's a scary thing to face.

Make Efforts to Do Good
We are in control of ourselves and while on earth we need to follow laws, use respect, and choose to do the right thing. We will be rewarded for our good here. Good post and I agree with you!

Ari -spoken like a true Christian ....
i have no proof, of course, but my thoughts are: this is it, this is the whole ball of wax, heaven, hell, purgatory, you name it here. Once our bodies wear out, we return to the great Void or Divine and come back again to try once again.

No, don't get me wrong...I believe in doing good works and good deeds, but
there is no salvational merit in it. Man cannot save himself by his goodness...In the Bible it says that no man is good, no, not one...only Christ, the perfect sinless being can be the mediator between me and my God. We are born fallen, with sinful natures and all the good we do cannot save us. Salvation is only through Christ...again, a Christian perspective.

My view is that no man is good, no not one, and good deeds have no
salvational merit...but this is a Christian perspective and I respect your views and religion.
