I read this story... the two did loook very much alike,
but how could the medical/police professionals have ID'd the bodies after a (bad) accident based solely on appearances? Stupid mistakes causing needless pain on top of real pain...

How painful for both sets of parents.
Justi, I just don't think people pay attention to details when they're doing their jobs anymore - not like we did when we were working.  Isn't that just obvious?

I heard about this yesterday on the news
I can't imagine the pain for those families.

I read this yesterday. ..Wasn't that sad?
Plus it was shocking as you say. How on earth could such a thing happen?

yes
I had heard that on the news. My god can you imagine being the parents, your daughter wakes up to ask you where her parents are. Poor families especially when you already thought you buried your daughter and she is alive after all, I would feel guilty that she was alive all this time in that coma and we had thought she was dead.

Justi---This is very cruel, definitely more cruel than what happened in HK
recently, which was swapping two corpses and giving one body to the wrong family for cremation.
