Dark Thoughts perhaps you are right.
I don't think you have to mud wrestle someone who has insulted you. You can just thank others who came to your defense and turn your back on those who were insulting. They are only mud wrestling to get attention. Don't you think? Thank you for reading and commenting.

Maybe it's better to name names...
I hope you're feeling better soon.  I think you're getting caught up in the cross-fire when the people that are being called names are other people, and probably been calling names themselves at least in the comments, if not in their blogs.  I've found a few of those "christians" who are offensive in how they try to share their faith...but take heart, you aren't one of them.  And so I suspect  not the target of those other non-believers who are also being offensive.

Passionflower
My bp went through the roof the day before. It is so crazy. I could come on here and say good morning and someone would come out of the woodwork and have a fit. This one was a side-winder, totally unexpected! I am okay! I have been heckled by far better. LOL Thank you so much Miss Passionflower. You better rest you are about to be really busy and perhaps from now on!

I wish you wouldn't get upset over these people...

They've been around since the beginning of time. I don't have to tell you that. There will always be nay-sayers, doubters, people who hate Christians....at least they don't throw us to the lions anymore...LOL!

Now settle down and stop arguing with these buffoons. Take some deep breaths, relax, ask the Lord to forgive you for getting so upset that your blood pressure went thru the roof.

Justi, so sorry you have been under the weather and under attack.  The two together are not good.   I have missed much of what has been going on around here as I have been going and doing and just dropping in here for a moment or two now and then.   I hope that you are better.

Thank You All

It is so true, all of you have said pretty much the same thing. I need to ignore those who call me names, are rude, ugly and totally uncivil toward me only because I am  Christian. That puts their remarks into another category, they are disrespecting Jesus - God. I do ignore the trash  written on their blogs about the nothingness of Christ and His followers; however, when it shows up on Christian blogs or simply blogs written by Christians I am so offended I respond. I see them even write blogs to denigrate Christ. I simply can not understand such an act. I do know all of you are right. I would never write a blog to put down an Atheists, Agnostic or any one of another faith, simply because they did not believe as I believe. That is very personal, they are being ugly personally to people. Am I that sheltered? Is is not right to expect decent behavior in decent environment?

Thank you all. I shall be around to see you individually.

Corbin Dallas, Shellyb, blackcat, Jane's Opinion, Muser, Flame Thrower, Pat B. Naut God bless all of you.

Justi,

first of all I am very sorry to find you're not feeling well, wish you a speedy recovery, and hope you'll look after yourself!

Next, as I have suggested before, and as have most of the others who have commented here before me, you really must learn to ignore those who attack you because of your faith, since to respond to that sort of thing means responding to small-mindedness and stupidity, which is always pointless.

First, I hope you're feeling better...
And second, I respect your right to believe what you believe -- it's one of our nation's protected rights. It shouldn't be any other way.  I may not agree with everything you write -- heck, I don't agree with everything anybody writes. But I appreciate what you've said, I'm sorry you've been attacked for being who you are, and I hope to read more of your work.

My dear, first,it will be fine to focus on your health problems. I will want to ask you to ignore all those provoking you and also insulting Christians and also America. As a christian myself,I know we are living in a time when accepting that you are christians is like buying your own passport for humiliation. It is a sort of persecution that all Christian under go today. But I and I know  you also, should take solace that, want we are going through is not an iota of what Jesus Christ under went. Allow God to answer those tanounting you. Be strong my sister.

I have always suspected this. And your comments on my last post has just come to confirm it. You are a Blessed  woman.  God Bless.

Justi...once again I have missed all the hoopla...but you and your health
are first and foremost! I hope you are much better and much calmer now and that your BP is back to normal.Corbin's advice is good advice...please consider it. It is a difficult thing to master, but keeping ourselves in a peaceful state is what we have to do now. Please take care of yourself.

My dear justi, I am so sorry to hear about your hospital stay.

The thought of you having four ankles (temporarily, of course) makes me sad.  I was not aware of the vicious attack against your opinions, but do know that I hold you and your opinions in high esteem.  As for the rest and their statements -- phoooey.  But I know it's easier said than accepted, eh?

In God we trust.  God is not a myth.  Christianity is not fiction.  The Bible is the inspired word of God.  This country is sunk without the blessing of God.  Need I say more?

Justi, I agree with Corbin.......I'm in the process of ignoring my
problem blogger. I know it can be hard sometimes, but you know, that there are others who care.  I hope you feel better soon!

Justi.....

I hope you are feeling better......

On your point....Isn't that the norm around here?  Ignor them...they want you to get emotional and respond....you know and the rest of us know the path.....isn't that what really matters????
