I don't know how I missed this....a belated "thank you so much" for the kind words you have written about me here......

Some here don't hesitate to attack people personally......we need to cover each others backs...this is a war you know.....one with our humanity as it's prize.....certainly one worth fighting for......

Justi, you are such a special lady....and

this is the nicest thing anybody has ever said about me.  You can't know what it means to me.  You've brought tears to my eyes and I love you for it.  I'm getting back in shape and I'll be around to read you.  Please believe I haven't forgotten you.

God bless you, sweet lady.

How can I read this and not get all tear-y eyed!!???

And how could you say such amazing things about Passionflower???

WoW! I've got to print this out and show it to my friends.

All of these are so wonderful and it's apparent that you put some work and thought into them...Thanks for letting me be one of your friends.

I knew all along you were praying for me. I only got injured once last year and once the year before. I guess God knew when to send you into my life, since you have His ear and know how to pray....LOL!

In the past 2 years, I've worked Charley, Frances, Jeanne, Dennis, Katrina, and Wilma...They mount up so quickly these days...LOL!!

You are so welcome to sit on my porch. If you like tomato sandwiches we will check out the Farmer's market and make some fresh farm tomato sandwiches. To eat at a time other than the ice cream social lol.

I am glad you found this post too so that I can find my way back to you. Thank you so much for the comment, I can't wait for the oatmeal cookies one of my favorites!

I am so pleased to be invited over to sit on your front porch, Justi. I
just love to swap stories, talk Southernese (I know we can pour it on real thick), and hey!, we can make some homemade ice cream...we'll have to borrow somebody's child to sit on top of the churn...oh well, that's a detail. When I first came to Blogit, you were among the few who read my first post; you made me feel welcome, and I have read your posts just about every day since! I call myself the barbedwire magnolia because I'm a hybrid; my Georgia Peach Mama married a West texas Maverick!

I call you the steelwool magnolia because you are as strong as steel all right...strong enough to carry some mighty hard burdens, and strong enough to polish metal...yet
gentle enough to finish the finest wood of furniture! Oh there's one other characteristic of steelwool that fits this southern lady who I now call my friend...steelwool is highly flammable! It is often carried by campers , hunters, anyone else who needs a fire. Steel wool can ignite even when it is wet! A small amount can produce a small flame...a handful is more than you want to mess with! Thanks Justi for all the nice things you said about me...I want to tell everybody on this website how much I appreciate your reading all of my long stories...all the way to the end...every single one. You have encouraged me from the beginning, and you will never know how much that has meant to me!

Justi...
I agree with your faves... Some folks on Blogit are just salt of the earth. I'd like to invite them over for coffee and some home made oatmeal cookies.  I'm glad I found your blog...:)pat

I read most of those writers too
and you. I don't think I would ever be brave enough to make a list of people I enjoy in blogit. I wouldn't want to leave anyone out either, but it is nice to appreciate your friends so your list explains why people do. You are a writer even if you think your not, writing is about your thoughts and you have great ones. Take Care.
