Passionflower, thank you so much.
It is tragic. He will be fine in time. He will not be able to walk for some time, he has broken hips. He is coming home in a couple of weeks. It will be a long trip back to wellness but that will come. He lived and will not be disabled is a blessing from the Lord.

What a tragedy!

I'm so sorry to hear about this. God Bless your daughter and these families involved. Those involved in motorcylce accidents often become vegetables and never do fully recover. But I DO know that prayer makes a huge difference.  And I will start praying too, for a full recovery.

Makes me grateful I got away from the drugs and alcohol.

Pat B you have got it, prayers, patience and hugs and hugs and hugs.

Hugs, patience, and prayers
that's how a parent deals with this.  Your daughter must be a source of deep pride -- taking action and getting help in spite of the emotion of the minute and the memories it brought up.  Heroic stuff. :)

TAPS Thank you so very much for your prayers. She is a very strong
and loving mother she has been dealing with a lot already. Satan is trying to eat our children alive with addictions of all sorts. They have to know there is a strong family base behind them. That touched me so in your post. That was very difficult for all concerned I am sure, but he was borned into that family because God formed him in the womb of that woman. We are so small as compared to God and the best we can do is love one another to see what God has in store.

Oh my goodness, Justi.    What a terrible situation for that mother and for all concerned.   Of course I will pray also.

This is horrible. I'll pray for them all--you and your daughter included.
