re: backdoor access
i googled myself and could get to all my blogs completely as well as looking at stuff they shouldn't be able to access. hmmm... and while i'm here... ariel, what comment did i make?  Did you delete it? Was it here? I remember reading your piece and commenting on not knowing that and thanking you for the info... what else did i say... i was here because you left a comment on my blog... can you clear this up for me? Forgive me if i said something questionable. I am a paying blogit member since last November, but not for long if the current owners don't close the backdoor. Thanks again for commenting again.

Terry

Tinternet is a bloomin mystery mefellah - don't try to understand it. It's like staring up into the Milky Way and trying to get your head round that.

Tell me about a neighbourhood donkey or an old crone in you village.

You might check to see if it's the "cookies" on your desktop which ...

... allow you access to the full posts, just as we can access with login / password when going to www.blogit.com.

Have a friend try accessing. They should only be able to read the first 10 lines or so of the post.

Yes indeed, it's a two-edged sword, isn't it? And like you, I'm not sure how I feel about it. I'm not sure if its benefits would outweigh its drawbacks.

Personally I don't care who reads me, but it'll make those who do be careful about what they write.

Thank you for your comment

No sh*t I just put my name into 'google' and read my latest blogs. I'm not sure how I feel about this. I'm sure it's good advertising for 'Blogit' but aren't we as 'paying blogit-eers' getting ripped off for half a cent somewhere?

ARIEL
I will be honest and say 'hell no, I don't want any ol person on the internet reading my blogs!' I thought our writing was exclusive to 'Blogit', paid by the half cent for everyone who does read here in Blogitville. Some stuff I wouldn't want, oh say, my mother reading something of mine that pops up on google,  do you know what I'm saying? Well anyway I knew one could pull up names and titles used on Blogit but I had no idea we were being read willynilly and for free by the free world. I thought this was a paid sight. Thanks for the info
