The type of things of which you speak used to drive me up the wall but with age has come more of an attitude of asi es la vida.

Yep, love ' ethnicicity '. Try saying that after a few scotches. Seems to be a lot of it about lately, hope it ain't catching.
" Shee, it was like this, officer, I was cruising down Ventura, when these here ethnicicistic dudes came and boosted me wheels, hic!"

Ariel70,
Why, thank you! That is very good to hear. You're a true raconteur and wordsmith and your stories are invariably intriguing and full of local lore, history and personal experience, of an exotic place that I am intrigued by. You interpret it well.
Ethicacious? Ethicnicity?

Thank you for the comment. Very nice. Glad you like my ' vagarious '! Love your 'ethicacy', too! I found it highly ethicacious, LOL. Has a certain sort of ... well, ethicacity to it, doesn't it?
One day soon, I'll post some real horror stories, that you just wouldn't believe : the real dark side of the Spanish moon.
May I say that I find it really heartwarming, how you invariably read me? You are my most loayal reader, my dear, and I'm very grateful to you. Thank you.

Ariel70,
Vagarious? If it's not a word, it should be. I think a couple of us invented a word this morning here: "Ethicacy", an accidental cross between "efficacy" and "ethics", while talking about drug companies. I hope "vagarious" catches on, a root like vague, vagaries, and vagabond.
I can see where you would have some frustration living in a country with a "manana" attitude (sorry, I don't know how to type a tilda on my keyboard). How long does it take to get a repair done on your house anyway?
