there isn't really anything significant with the number 56, I just thought it was a really high number for comments, but now I stand corrected, or rather sit...but yeah you know what I mean. I'll check out your favorite

They vary, Penguin (in terms of humor) ...
personally, the "Dead Neighbor" one is my favorite.
Beyond that, I made a list (which I probably need to update):

P.S. What's the significance of 56? My high so far is 82 (in a single day span).

I must say, I would get annoyed if my mom played scrabble like that...
...so i just don't play it, I've played speed scrabble before, and suck. I commented this post because I think it funnier than the other, pllus I wanted to make it have 56 comments. There are not very many young people on here, probably because, like me, younger people can not write very well. I just had to check out your pic since you said it wasn't half-bad, not bad. Est-ce que vous parlez fancais? Je ne peux pas parler francais tres bien.

I never understood why there was only one female smurf, either, Gulliver.
Though, I suppose it does explain the popularity of Vanity Smurf within their community.
I think Smurfette is Papa Smurf's daughter, btw.

Ah, beware of therapy
Therapy is designed to make you dependant on the therapist.
True peace and mental serenity will come when you realize, in the depths of your soul, that YOU ARE GOD TOO.
There is no man-like being lording over the universe. It is us, and us alone, and we are responsible for creating our own reality.
When you take responsability (response-ability) for your own reality, you will be using your willpower to its fullest extent.
And then you will have no need for external 'help' which can only serve to confuse you and improperly evaluate what is going on in your own mind. Or int he worst case, proscribe you drugs for illnesses that are all caused by your own mind.

I'm afraid I would infuriate you just as much as your mother: taking forever, indecisive, blah blah blah, but it's probably just the tip of that particular iceberg. I would never play Scrabble with my own mother, at least yours has enough vocabulary to make it interesting.

Ironically enough, when my username was Madame P.O. many people referred to me as "M.P.O.", anyway ... then when I changed it to that, several people here insisted on still calling me "Madame".
So, I obviously can't win. At least, this nickname is accurate.

As I recall
In Scrabble, if you challenge and are wrong, you lose the points that the word was worth. Or, you could come up with house rules that you lose 10 points on a failed challenge, and have a 5-min timer. Just in case you ever have to play with your Mom again.
I once invented a word during a game similar to Scrabble except you could place your letters over letters already laid down as long as every direction still made a word. Using all my tiles and stretching clear across the board, I laid down "penisfairy." We didn't know exactly what it meant, but everyone was laughing too hard to challenge it for about 15 minutes. True story.
