Right you are, scoop. With worse hair.
The War on Terror can be fought from anywhere, with surgical insertions, with the cooperation of the international community.  We don't need a base in Afghanistan (now that the war is essentially over and has been) or Iraq (that war just continues to continue).  We can launch attacks from our carrier groups, from bases in Turkey, India, Israel.  The Iranian power play may be the most assinine and counter-productive political and diplomatic maneuver I have ever seen.

We are in dire straits and starting another war in Iran is just stupid
We should be trying to settle the peace in Iraq and go after the terrorists. Afghanistan is getting out of control and I thought they had their "democracy" well guess what, the shit ain't working. And this deal about Rice being appointed VP and then a run for president would not surprise me, it would be another backdoor-Bush-dirty -deal. I am sure she is the reason that Powell split and she is nothing but Bush in drag.

The only people capable of actually thwarting these fucking tyrannical
morons are the American public, who are being bludgeoned to senselessness with misdirecting bullshit, and our elected politicians, who are trying to save their collective asses in this election year and gearing up for the next election in 2008.  The problem is that megalomanic Dubya and his bobblehead crew are doing as they wish while everyone else does nothing.

I, being an American and fully cognizant of exactly what I am saying with
this statement, believe that, regardless of educational or socio-economic status or cultural inequities, most Americans are fools.  Period.  What say you, SlyCy?
