I really enjoyed this. I am so sleepy right now (middle of night here) that I will read Part II and following tomorrow after I do my hair. LOL

Ariel70,
It's so good to see you back and describing your adopted country from your own perspective. I can see where the Spanish Manana attitude could be charming and insantiy-inducing depending on the day or circumstances. I love the idea of the neighbor tending his tree in the middle of your yard.

Many thanks for your comment, and your continuing support.
That accent over the ñ is a tilde, ( pronounced tilday ),and you can access it in several different ways. Add Spanish as an alternative language from Control Panel, and toggle between English and Spanish via the small language button at the bottom right of your toolbar. To get the ñ in this way you press shift and semi-colon.
I assume you use Microsoft Word for documents, and if so, the simplest way is to place the cursor where you want your ñ ( pronounced enya) click on Insert, then Symbol, select ñ from the window and press Insert.
Hasta luego, mi amigo!!!

El Tel, wonderful sensual notes once again -
sensual as in appealing to all five, not just the one. I think I will call it Spanana from now on and would be grateful if you could teach me a) how to do that squiggly thing above the 'n' and b) tell me what it's called.
We are finding a manana republic going on in our Keswick retreat.
Nice to read you again. Hope you're getting stronger.
