I like your attitude, mellyn. But it looks as if we won't be partying
until after Dubya leaves office.  Then there can be two huge parties...

Good question, DL. It seems that the Bush administration is hesitant
to give up the insurgency title as yet, so who knows?

I Heard...
...more than 500 people have been killed in Iraq since that temple bombing.

I wonder how many have to die before its 'officially' a civil war?

Anyone who shoots in the general direction of the Bush agenda is a
terrorist, blogflogger.  He really needs better advisors, true.  And he should never keep his own counsel.

saul_relative - Just this morning Bush referred to the terrorists' actions
... in Iraq in the past few days. Terrorists? His advisors need to give him better advice regarding his mantra style comments.

And no wonder. That way the stripes stay on the tiger. By the way, I love
the song, "Ride The Tiger", by Jefferson Starship.

Ancient Chinese proverb.

is afraid to dismount."

Admit it's a civil war, blogflogger? Hell, they can't even admit there's
an insurgency.  Or that most of the violence isn't due to terrorists, but factional and sectarian differences.  And by the way, we're winning the war in Iraq...

Or something, M.P.O. And it sure is dark... Love your quote, what's it
from?

Saul - Time to admit it's a civil war in Iraq. How terribly tragic.

This is unbelievable ...

the situation just seems to get worse and worse, minus even the slightest glimmer of a light at the end of the tunnel peeking through.  And, that is some tunnel, too ... like the Lincoln or something.
